कुछ समय पहले मैंने श्री केदारनाथ धाम की यात्रा की थी और वहां तक पहुंचने के लिए हेलीकॉप्टर सेवा का उपयोग किया था। दुर्भाग्यवश, 27 मई को जिस आर्यन हेलीकॉप्टर में मैं यात्रा कर रहा था, उसके पायलट कैप्टन राजीव का कुछ ही दिनों बाद एक हेलीकॉप्टर क्रैश में निधन हो गया। यह बेहद दुखद है क्योंकि मैंने उसी हेलीकॉप्टर में उनके साथ यात्रा की थी, को-पायलट की सीट पर बैठा था और हमने उड़ान के दौरान कई बातें की थीं। वे बेहद जिंदादिल और मिलनसार व्यक्ति थे। उन्होंने कहा था कि वे मुंबई आएंगे तो मुझसे ज़रूर मिलेंगे, लेकिन अब वे हमारे बीच नहीं हैं। 2025 की यात्रा सीज़न की शुरुआत से अब तक उत्तराखंड में पांच हेलीकॉप्टर हादसे हो चुके हैं, जिनमें से कुछ केदारनाथ क्षेत्र में हुए हैं। इन घटनाओं के बाद सरकार ने हेलीकॉप्टर सेवाओं पर अस्थायी रोक लगा दी है। इस वीडियो में मैं आपको दिखा रहा हूं कि गुप्तकाशी से उड़ान भरने वाला हेलीकॉप्टर कैसे श्री केदारनाथ धाम पहुंचता है, रास्ते में क्या-क्या दिखता है, और लैंडिंग का अनुभव कैसा होता है। यह वही वीडियो है जो मैंने उस समय रिकॉर्ड किया था जब कैप्टन राजवीर सिंह चौहान हेलीकॉप्टर उड़ा रहे थे। उड़ान के दौरान आपको नीचे गांव, यात्रियों की चहल-पहल, पहाड़ों पर बने रास्ते, ग्लेशियर और श्री केदारनाथ मंदिर के दर्शन होते हैं। भैरव चट्टी भी ऊपर से दिखाई देती है। हालांकि ऊंचाई पर हवा के झोंकों से टर्बुलेंस महसूस होता है, लेकिन यह अनुभव बेहद रोमांचक होता है। जहां सड़क मार्ग से मंदिर तक पहुंचने में लगभग 5 घंटे लगते हैं, वहीं हेलीकॉप्टर से यह दूरी मात्र 8 मिनट में तय हो जाती है। यह वीडियो उसी अनुभव की एक झलक है। A few weeks ago, I visited Shri Kedarnath Dham and took a helicopter to reach the temple. Sadly, the pilot of that very Aryan helicopter, Captain Rajveer Singh Chauhan, passed away in a tragic crash just days after our flight. I was seated right beside him in the co-pilot seat, and we had a heartfelt conversation mid-air. He was a lively, warm-hearted person who had even promised to meet me in Mumbai someday. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us. Since the start of the 2025 yatra season, there have been five helicopter crashes in Uttarakhand, some near Kedarnath. In response, the government has temporarily suspended helicopter services. In this video, I share my experience of flying from Guptkashi to Kedarnath—what you see from the window, how the helicopter takes off and lands, and the breathtaking views of villages, glaciers, and the Kedarnath temple from above. You’ll also see Bhairav Chatti and the winding trails pilgrims walk. While turbulence is common due to high-altitude winds, the journey is thrilling. What takes nearly 5 hours by foot is covered in just 8 minutes by air.
